Empório
Empório is the word for wharehouse in portuguese.... it also can have other meanings. When I develop a logo, I usually start with very loose drawings in order to convey the feeling. Then I go into the computer an refine the idea. It's the logo for a store that is going to have both crafts from local artists and it's also a nursery. The requirements from the client was that I had to incorporate a hummingbird and the local flower (Manacá), which grows on trees all year around.

This was an alternative concept that was presented to the client and actually turned down... It might look better as a tattoo than a logo.
