Cleaning is never that much fun around the studio. You have to sort through all of this little and not so little pieces of paper, trying to figure out what's worth saving and what should be trashed. So, while I was reorganizing my book shelf, I came across the original sketches for my logo. I am always so amazed how some quick sketches can have so much energy and life. You have come a long way baby!

We had great weather, after a night of heavy storms and even tornadoes. Got to see a lot of the friends, local folks and meet some new people. The response to the art was positive and the "Rare Birds" were a hit. The best part was seeing the reactions of the kids to the birds... Their imagination is great. I would ask them what kind of birds they were and they told me things like a peacock or a parrot, because of all the colors.

It's a lot of work to get ready for this things, but it was totally worth it and look forward to doing more of these kind of shows.
