Georgetown Public Library ©2009 - Children's Library Mascot

I had a lot of fun working with the Georgetown Public Library, helping them promote all of the different programs that they have for children. They offer so much to the general public and they want to make sure that people take advantage of it. We created this cute little bookworm, a new mascot for the Children's Library, who's job is to motivate and inspire kids to reach their maximum potential.

Eu me diverti muito trabalhando com a Biblioteca da cidade de Georgetown. Eles queriam promover os programas infantis que a biblioteca tem para oferecer. Os programas são grátis e a biblioteca que ter certeza que o público aproveite o máximo possível. Nós criamos está minhoca simpática, uma nova mascote para a biblioteca,  que deverá inspirar as crianças á aprenderem muito.

Last Friday. the banners that I created to promote the Children's Summer Programs at the Georgetown Public Library went up! I thought that you might enjoy looking at the original sketches. I think that I stayed pretty true to the sketches... although I might be a little bias, I think that they came out great! You can see all of the sketches in the gallery.

Peço desculpas, pois eu sei que já faz unm certo tempo que não escrevo nada no meu blog. Mas confeço que eu ando bem ocupado. Wi-Fi Logo for the City of Georgetown, Texas

Okay... There's a lot of Wi-Fi logos out there, but this one was created for the city of Georgetown. My current residence. It was fun to create. Instead of having a straight forward, or show we say a normal shadow, we have a stylized G (G is for Georgetown... just in case that needs and explanation). The stylized G ties in with strong football culture and following that exists in the state of Texas and a brand that has been created around the popular local high school football team. In other words, residents of Georgetown can easily identify and make a connection with the city where they reside. Currently, the city offers Free Wi-Fi at the Georgetown Public Library and around the downtown square.
